Overview

This is a two-part, 5-day workshop on programming, data visualization, data engineering, and data analysis.

Part 1: April 14-15, 2025 (14 hrs)

  • Introduction to Data Engineering and Data Visualization

Part 2: June 25-27, 2025 (21 hrs)

  • Introduction to Data Analysis

  • Advanced Techniques for Data Analysis

Registration and workshop fee

The workshop is designed for participants who hold a Bachelor’s degree, possess basic programming skills, and have a fundamental understanding of statistics. Participants are required to bring their own laptops. Those who wish to participate should register through the following online form:

The workshop fee covers the workshop kit, lunch and afternoon snacks.  Proof of payment of the workshop fee should be uploaded in the registration form.  Confirmation of registration will be sent once the payment is verified by the organizing committee.  Kindly refer to the table below for the rates and deadlines:

Given a provided list of available data sets, participants will:

  1. Choose a data set of interest for analysis

  2. Perform the Exploratory Data Analysis on the data set of interest while answering guide questions.

  3. Identify a goal for analysis regarding the data set and perform advanced data analysis techniques to achieve the goal

  4. Report findings through a simple python notebook.
